Pictures!

Ok so it has been a long time since I have posted pictures on here so bare with me if they don't turn out well.

Kinley, my little artist/teacher/writer..anything else that requires creativity, has started a school for Malia and Trey and any other kids that happen to be at our house at that time. Actually she is still little but not really because her feet are bigger than mine and she is almost as tall as me...the only thing that would be better is if I was her size in clothes! Now that would be awesome! So back to my explanation of the picture...she teaches Malia and Trey and whatever other little kids that are at our house at the time..school. She has set up a classroom for them. They love it and she loves it to. What 12 year old do you know that spends most of her extra time planning lessons for her cousins? She is so creative! And I wish I could claim it came from me...but nope....she got it all from her dads side of the family! So here are a couple pictures of the kids and the classroom. I'm so glad that she is doing this because it also has taught her a lot of patience. If you ask me I think I know what career she would be great at!

Update!

Hey everyone I know it has been forever since I have been on here but I promise I will do better. Me and Kin are doing good, I just started a new job doing customer service..not sure it is the right job for me but in this market I am just lucky to have a job. Kinley is in gymnastics and doing very well. We hope she will move up to the preteen program here soon. Meanwhile we are just hanging out with the fam and living life. Pics to come soon :)

High School

So I got this from Stephanies post and I thought, why not. But I will warn you I wasn't the best example, so you may not want your kids to read this.


1. DID YOU DATE SOMEONE FROM YOUR SCHOOL? Of course I did!

2.WHAT KIND OF CAR DID YOU DRIVE? Plymouth Sundance named Limpy...Megan Davis actually named it that but it fit perfect because I had a antenna that wasn't made of metal...it was actually plastic and just wouldn't stand up straight!

3. DID YOU PASS YOUR DRIVER'S LICENSE TEST YOUR FIRST TRY? Amazingly enough yes I did.

4. WERE YOU A PARTY ANIMAL? Yep

5. WERE YOU CONSIDERED A FLIRT? I'm not sure...because of the answer on #4 high school was kind of a blur.

6. WERE YOU IN BAND, ORCHESTRA, OR CHOIR? Um no...can you say tone deaf?

8. WERE YOU ON ANY VARSITY TEAMS? Nope did I mention tone deaf and uncoordinated?

9. DID YOU EVER GET SUSPENDED/EXPELLED? No but you have to actually go to school at some point to get suspended.

10. CAN YOU STILL SING THE FIGHT SONG? I didn't know there was a fight song.

11. WHO WERE YOUR FAVORITE TEACHERS? Hmmm refer to #5

12. WHERE DID YOU SIT FOR LUNCH? We went out to lunch....or to friends houses

13. WHAT IS YOUR SCHOOL'S FULL NAME? Spanish Fork High School

14. WHAT IS YOUR SCHOOL'S MASCOT AND COLORS? The Dons & Red/Grey

15. DID YOU GO TO HOMECOMING AND WITH WHO? I'm not sure......still a blur

16. IF YOU COULD GO BACK AND DO IT AGAIN WOULD YOU? No, of course I have alot of regrets but I still wouldn't want to go back.

17. WHAT DO YOU REMEMBER MOST ABOUT GRADUATION? K so the further I go down on this question thing...the more I realize what a loser I was....so to answer that question I didn't graduate with my class.....I got my diploma 6 months later.

18. WHERE DID YOU GO SENIOR SKIP DAY? Ya I'm a loser...I dropped out of school half way through Senior year.

19. WERE YOU IN ANY CLUBS? Does the back parking lot count as a club?

20. HAVE YOU GAINED SOME WEIGHT SINCE THEN? Don't even go there!

21. WHO WAS YOUR PROM DATE? Lets not go there either.

22. ARE YOU PLANNING ON GOING TO YOUR 10 YEAR REUNION? No I didn't go

23. DID YOU HAVE A JOB IN HIGH SCHOOL? K so atleast I had a job....Frostop and Shopko and Kmart
24. WERE YOU AN HONOR STUDENT ? Uh no

25. DID YOU TAKE SEMINARY? Yes

26. What would you consider your most fun times in High school? Camping with Megan Davis and Allison Heap and crap I can't remember who else.....Taz...thats was Megans nickname...built the fire at Maple Lakes and we stole the cub scouts canoe and went skinny dipping. Woke up with sleeping bags in the coals of the fire.

27. Were you considered shy or outgoing? I think a little of both.

28. Any last memories you'd like to share? Loved the drive in even if we sometimes came in the trunk or through the field. It was always fun!

Wow now that I am done with my questions and I realize what I loser I was I think I am going to make sure my daughter doesn't see this! But hey everyone...I warned ya!

Finally!

I know, I'm horrible and it has been over six months since I have posted anything so I thought it was time. Just an update on me and Kinley. School is going great for Kinley...although it is like pulling teeth to get her to read! But she is very smart, sometimes to smart! But I love her and wouldn't trade her for the world. Me...well I am still at the title company and man...this economy sucks! I still have a job for now. But would really like a job that I could make more money. One of these days I am going to get off my butt and go back to school. I stole some pictures off of Robby and Stephs blog of our Thanksgiving Day. Believe it or not I used to go shoot up at the gun club, which I still sucked but was better in those days then I am now. I'm amazed I every even shot a deer. Which I will post that picture to prove it. So anyway holiday seasons are kind of hard on me and this year is going to be the worst. Because Kinley is going to South Carolina for 21 DAYS! Ya so, any of my friends out there reading this PLEASE call me and help keep me busy so I don't go crazy....lol! Hope everyone has a MERRY CHRISTMAS.....and I say that because this happy holidays replacing MERRY CHRISTMAS is a bunch of bull!

Sunday with the O'Briens

Hey I thought I would put some pics on here of our Sunday family activities. They were just taken with my camera phone because that is all I have. So almost every Sunday all us O'Briens get together for Sunday dinner. We have been going to Ashlee and Jonathan's lately because they have an awesome backyard that we can play games in. We got together a few Sundays ago and played catch, did some batting (please excuse my grammar/spelling you know I am the redneck of the family!) and bumped around the volleyball. Which mainly consisted of me trying to even hit the volleyball and them chasing it all over the place. Obviously the coordination gene totally skipped over me and hit everyone else in the family! So here are the pics and I am throwing a couple of Kinley and Kaleigh in there softball uniforms!

My new job!

Hey everyone! I thought I would finally do an update on my job situation. I got that great job at the title company in Spanish Fork. Yeah!!!!! I was/am soo excited. It worked out so well, I know my mom prayed and prayed for me to have an opportunity like this. So I work two minutes away from home. I can come home on my lunches and save money on food. I get to see Malia and Trey (oh and Abbie...ha ha) every day at lunch time. It's awesome! And when school gets out I can see Kinley too! So hopefully in less than a year I will be able to get my license so I can be an Escrow Officer! So anyway that is my news...everything is going great at work. I love all the people, they are great and very friendly and just took me under their wings. So ya one of these days I will get some new pics on here. I have to find my camera first.

Gotta love Saturdays!

So you gotta love Saturdays, the staying up late....waking up early....going back to sleep! It's awesome! Ya well Kinley had a sleep over with Kaleigh so thank goodness she had someone to play with while her mother took a little morning nap. So we have a double early birthday party for Robby and Steph before they take off to Vegas. And we also have a wedding to go to tonight. Fun fun! Actually I am sure the family will be fun...it usually is. And the wedding I know will be beautiful. So that's a pretty great Saturday if you ask me. Kinley has been doing fine, no more sickness. Thank goodness I haven't got it. I quit my job but pretty much have another one lines up. I decided I wanted to go into the Title business. So Friday I decided even though it is a slow time right now for real estate and such, that I was going to take resumes around to all the Title companies in Spanish Fork. So I did and I was very blessed to run into the Branch manager on a title company in the parking lot...ya well he was laughing at me cause I can't park worth a crap. So that started to whole conversation. So yep they were hiring and we will interview a second time on Monday...so everyone wish me luck! So all in all I think it has been a pretty good week.
